I'm Pat Kelly...this son-of-a-son-of-a-son of a Baltimore waterfront whisky bootlegger (and the rest of The Family!) welcome you  to our Personal Page from "The Land of Pleasant Living" and our world...   Chesapeakecarper's World for carp chasin' fun and excitement:
...for keeps-to-utilize,
...for release (personal decision) ...for catch n giveaway
is our philosophy!!
-
Multi tactic carp chasin': bow 'n  arrow hunting; American/Eurostyle hook, line n sinker fishing! The USA (unlike the UK, Europe  and other countries where carp may not be classified as Invasive Species) has such a HUGE breeder population of large nuisance carp we can afford to hold legal hunting (predation) season! Population thinning/eradication/fatal pressure, is good for the ecology...fewer carp is better carp sport! Harvest of these LARGEST trophy carp provides not only wonderful sport but removes the LARGEST BREEDERS from the ecosystem.
-
Respect for and responsible utilization of our Natural Resources (including carp like any other fish...no leaving dead fish on river banks please!); Respect for DNR rules, regulations and Angler/Sportsman Ethics; support of sound, science-based management and promotion of carp sporting; protection of sporting rights;  dedication to the betterment of our environment for wildlife and our fellow Outdoorsmen, sons and daughters and other American Carp Sportsmen (and women) like us
...it's what we're all about!
